Emergency Repair Strategy for Loose Interfaces

For slightly loose metal contacts, a temporary tin-plating process can be applied to increase the contact area, followed by reinforcement with high-temperature-resistant insulating tape. If plastic latches are broken, it is recommended to use metal cable ties combined with epoxy resin adhesive for three-point fixation, ensuring a tensile strength of no less than 15 N. For power-related interfaces that loosen frequently, upgrading to spring-latch connectors with a self-locking function is advisable, as they can offer a mating life of over 5,000 cycles.

During operation, be sure to disconnect the power supply and drain the pipelines. After repair, a sealing test must be conducted: raise the water pressure to 0.8 MPa and maintain it for 3 minutes with no leakage to be considered qualified. During routine inspections, special attention should be paid to the connections at the drain pump and heating element, where vibration is frequent. It is recommended to apply silicone-based conductive grease quarterly to maintain contact stability.
